Currently, the People's Committee of Na Meo commune has organized the installation of warning signs and barriers in the landslide area, assigned forces to guard and warn, and not allow people and vehicles to pass through to ensure safety.
Previously, at 4:30 p.m. on July 26, the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting issued a warning of flash floods, landslides, and land subsidence due to heavy rain or water flow in Thanh Hoa province in the next 6 hours. Accordingly, Na Meo commune is forecasted to be at high risk of flash floods, subsidence, and landslides. In particular, the communes of Thach Lap, Ngoc Lac, Ngoc Lien, Minh Son, Nguyet An, Kien Tho, Cam Tu, Cam Thach, Cam Thuy, Cam Tan, and Cam Van are warned to be at very high risk. |
