Duy Xuyen rewards groups and individuals with excellent achievements in excellent student competitions

In the 2024-2025 school year, Duy Xuyeneducation sector continues to implement Resolution No. 29 (November 4, 2013) of the 11th Party Central Committee on fundamental and comprehensive innovation of education and training and the 2018 general education program.

At the same time, synchronously deploy many innovative solutions in teaching and learning methods; focus on comprehensively developing students' qualities and abilities, especially the work of discovering and nurturing excellent students.

After the rounds of examination, Duy Xuyen district selected 85 grade 9 students to participate in the provincial excellent student competition. As a result, 62 students won prizes, accounting for 65.3%. Of these, there were 2 first prizes, 12 second prizes, 19 third prizes and 29 consolation prizes.

In particular, the Math, Literature, English, Biology, and History teams all won team prizes. Of which, History won first place in the team; Math and Literature won second place in the team; English and Biology won third place in the team. Thanks to that, Duy Xuyen district ranked third overall.

In the district-level excellent student competition for grades 6, 7, and 8 in the 2024-2025 school year, Duy Xuyen district had 683 students competing in 12 subjects. As a result, the Department of Education and Training recognized 402 students as winners, including 16 first prizes, 68 second prizes, 143 third prizes, and 175 consolation prizes.

For the overall team award, Tran Cao Van Secondary School ranked first, Chu Van An Secondary School won second and Nguyen Thanh Han Secondary School won third.

At the conference, the Department of Education and Training, Duy Xuyen District People's Committee, and Duy Xuyen Department of Education and Training commended and rewarded 62 students who won prizes in the provincial-level 9th grade excellent student competition. In addition, many groups and teachers with outstanding achievements in teaching were awarded.
