EVNSPC started construction of 15 houses for poor households

BPO - On the morning of May 28, in Doan Ket commune (Bu Dang district), Binh Phuoc Electricity Company coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province to start the construction of 7 houses for households with difficult housing conditions. This is part of the program to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses implemented by the Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) in 21 southern provinces and cities in 2025.

According to the plan, the whole province will be supported to build 15 houses with a total cost of 900 million VND, distributed in 2 districts of Bu Dang and Bu Dop. All beneficiary households have been assessed and confirmed to be eligible. In addition to the funding source, the Provincial Fund for the Poor will support an additional 300 million VND to ensure the standard of 80 million VND/house.

Leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bu Dang province, district and sponsors presented symbolic plaques of the amount of money donated to build houses for households.

Also on the morning of May 28, Bu Dop district organized the groundbreaking ceremony to build 8 houses for households with difficult housing circumstances in Hung Phuoc and Phuoc Thien communes.

EVNSPC decided not to organize activities to celebrate its 50th anniversary to spend the entire cost of nearly 19 billion VND on the program to build 315 gratitude houses in 21 southern provinces and cities. The program not only has social security significance but also demonstrates the spirit of community responsibility, supporting households in difficult circumstances to have stable housing, peace of mind to work and produce.
