Eximbank approved to move headquarters to Hanoi

The State Bank has just issued a document approving the Vietnam Export Import Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Eximbank) to move its headquarters from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi.

Eximbank will move its head office from its current location on the 8th floor, office number L8-01-11+16, Vincom Center Building, 72 Le Thanh Ton, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City to its proposed location at 27-29 Ly Thai To, Ly Thai To Ward, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi .

The State Bank's approval document for this headquarters transfer is valid for 12 months from the date of signing.

Previously, the change of Eximbank's head office location was approved by the General Meeting of Shareholders. Eximbank's leaders said that the bank will change the head office location after being approved and allowed to implement by competent authorities.

At the same time, Eximbank develops a plan to assign and arrange personnel reasonably, in accordance with operational needs and development strategies in the coming period.

Depending on the nature of the work of each position, there will be staff working directly in Hanoi. However, there may also be cases where staff are arranged to work from Ho Chi Minh City or work remotely if it is suitable for the task requirements.

In addition, Eximbank will organize meetings and dialogues to listen to the thoughts, aspirations and suggestions of staff.

This year, Eximbank plans to achieve consolidated pre-tax profit of VND5,188 billion, up nearly 24% compared to last year. Along with that, total assets are expected to increase by 10.7% to VND265,500 billion, of which outstanding credit balance will reach VND195,500 billion.
