FPT completes acquisition of German technology consulting company

With strengths in user interface design (UI/UX), integration, comprehensive development, SAP integration and customer information management systems, David Lamm Consulting will play an important role in helping FPT increase its competitive advantage in providing specialized solutions for the energy sector in the German and European markets. At the same time, based on the capacity to implement projects and a wide network on a global scale, FPT will continue to undertake David Lamm Consulting's existing projects, ensuring continuity and high quality for customers.

This is a strategic step to help FPT improve its capacity to provide digital solutions and services to businesses in the energy sector - one of the important sectors contributing nearly 50% to FPT's revenue in the European market.

Previously, since October 2024, the two sides have cooperated to develop innovative solutions in the fields of energy production, distribution and sustainable development.

With more than 16 years of operation in the European market, FPT has established a strong presence in 9 countries and become a trusted digital transformation partner of more than 150 leading European enterprises. FPT accompanies many big names in various fields, including energy, automobiles, healthcare , finance - banking... such as E.ON, Schaeffler, Viessmann, Covestro, Volvo and Siemens.

Since 2014, FPT has carried out M&A deals as a strategic move to strengthen its capacity, develop its customer network and increase its global presence. FPT's acquisition of RWE IT Slovakia in 2014 marked the first time a Vietnamese IT company conducted M&A overseas.

In the following years, FPT continued to attract attention with a series of other important deals such as acquiring a majority stake in Intellinet in 2018; strategic investment in LTS Inc. in 2022; strategic investment in Landing AI and acquiring the IT services division of Intertec International, acquiring Cardinal Peak and AOSIS in 2023. Most recently, FPT acquired Japanese IT services company Next Advanced Communications (NAC).
