In a match that was a formality when both teams had already secured their tickets to the next round, the Vietnamese and Iranian women's futsal teams seemed to no longer be interested in winning. The Vietnamese women's futsal team even made an important change in goal when they brought in Hai Yen to replace the number 1 goalkeeper Thuy Linh in the final round of Group B, the 2025 Asian Women's Futsal Championship.
Entering the match, both teams played at a slow pace, without many notable moves, clearly showing the caution and calculation of both sides.
After the break, Iran suddenly slowed down, mainly controlling the ball in their own half. Vietnam also did not increase the pace of attack, making the match dull and no goals were scored, ending the match with a score of 0-0.
