According to TechRadar , having just been launched not long ago, the Galaxy S25 Ultra and S25 Plus have disappointed users due to the problem of slow battery charging.
Galaxy S25 Ultra and S25 Plus charging speeds are not as advertised
Many reports indicate that the actual charging speed is significantly slower than the advertised 45W, and in some cases, charging is not possible at all. The 'culprit' has been identified as an incompatibility between Samsung's 45W charger and the 5A USB-C cable that comes with the device. Samsung Italy has recommended that users use an alternative 3A cable to temporarily fix this problem.

However, this solution does not work for everyone. Samsung said that it will soon release a software update to completely fix the problem. The first update for the Galaxy S25 series has been rolled out, but it is not yet clear whether the battery charging bug has been completely fixed.
While waiting for an official patch, users experiencing issues can try the following:
- Update to the latest software.
- Switch to using 3A cable.
- Use a charger with lower wattage.
- Turn off super fast charging.
- Use wireless charging.
However, the good news is that this problem only seems to affect the Galaxy S25 Ultra and S25 Plus, the standard Galaxy S25 version with a maximum charging speed of 25W is still working normally. The user community is expecting Samsung to completely fix this problem soon to bring the best experience to users.
