Nearly 1,200 civil servants and public employees were promoted and upgraded.

Information from the Ministry of Home Affairs on October 22 said that Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra has just signed a decision to recognize the results of the civil servant promotion exam and promote administrative officials to senior specialists in 2023.

The Ministry of Home Affairs said that the 2023 civil servant promotion exam and promotion of professional titles from administrative officials to senior specialists organized by the Ministry of Home Affairs had a total of 1,242 officials, civil servants, and public employees summoned.

Of these, 41 candidates asked to withdraw from the exam; the total number of candidates was 1,201 people.

The Central agency block has 602 people. Of which, there are 53 Department Heads and equivalent; 217 Deputy Department Heads and equivalent.

The local block has 599 people. Of which, there are 49 Vice Chairmen of the People's Committee and People's Council at the provincial level; 143 Department Directors and equivalent; 206 Deputy Department Directors and equivalent.

The list of scores for officials, civil servants and public employees at ministries, central agencies and local agencies obtained by Lao Dong shows that almost all officials, civil servants and public employees participating in this exam had passing scores.

Apart from the number of civil servants and public employees who did not take the exam, there were very few people who failed this exam, in both central and local agencies.

For example, at the Ministry of Industry and Trade , out of 28 officials taking the exam, only 1 person failed; at the Ministry of Education and Training, out of 37 people taking the exam, only 3 people failed.

Vietnam Social Security has 66 civil servants and public employees taking the exam, of which only 2 did not take the exam, the remaining 64 people all passed. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has 48 civil servants and public employees taking the exam and all of them passed...

In the decision signed on October 18 to recognize the results of the civil servant promotion exam and the promotion of administrative officials to senior experts in 2023, the Ministry of Home Affairs clearly stated that the heads of ministries, branches, provincial People's Committee Chairmen and special associations are responsible for reviewing the standards, conditions, job positions, titles, positions, salary developments and signing the decision to appoint and rank senior experts of those who passed the exam under their management authority to ensure compliance with the provisions of law.

In case of any problems in salary arrangement, there must be a written document to be discussed with the Ministry of Home Affairs before signing the decision according to authority and in case of discovering that cadres, civil servants, public employees, and people working at the association have special characteristics and do not meet the standards and conditions for taking the exam, there must be a written request to the Ministry of Home Affairs to cancel the exam results.
