Nearly 10 billion VND in aid during Humanitarian Month

According to the synthesis of the Provincial Red Cross Society, during the Humanitarian Month of 2025 (May), the associations at all levels in the province organized many activities to support the disadvantaged and disadvantaged and humanitarian programs with a total value of nearly 10 billion VND, an increase of more than 3.3 billion VND compared to the previous year.

Social activities organized by the provincial Red Cross Society cost a total of nearly 2.3 billion VND to build "red cross" houses, award scholarships, give bicycles, wheelchairs, and provide emergency subsidies to people in difficult circumstances. The district Red Cross Society also mobilized and called for sponsorship of more than 3 billion VND to care for policy families and disadvantaged households in the area.

Also during the Humanitarian Month, the Provincial Red Cross organized 7 free medical examination programs, 20 first aid training sessions and 20 voluntary blood donation sessions collecting nearly 5,500 units of blood... The total value of health care activities and voluntary blood donation was nearly 4.4 billion VND.

In addition, during this year's Humanitarian Month, the "Million Steps of Charity" program attracted 342 participants with nearly 47,000 km, equivalent to nearly 47 million VND contributed to charity and humanitarian activities.
