On the afternoon of April 19, the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee coordinated with the Departmentof Education and Training, the Department of Transport, the Traffic Police Department (Provincial Police), the Vietnam Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers, and the Road Motor Vehicle Driving Training and Testing Center (Lao Cai College) to pilot a program to foster legal knowledge and safe motorbike driving skills for high school students.
The program was attended by nearly 200 students in grades 10 and 11 from Lao Cai Specialized High School, Lao Cai City High School No. 1, and Lao Cai High School No. 2.

The pilot program to foster legal knowledge and safe motorbike driving skills for high school students closely follows the directives of superiors on strengthening traffic order and safety for students in the new situation; is suitable for the training subjects; fosters legal knowledge on road traffic order and safety; safe motorbike driving skills; tests theory, practice and issues certificates of participation in the training course.



The pilot program is implemented to improve legal knowledge and safe motorbike driving skills for students, contributing to controlling and reducing traffic accidents involving students; assessing the current status of knowledge and safe driving skills of students, thereby proposing appropriate solutions and recommendations in developing regulations related to training, testing, and granting driving licenses (or certificates of training in knowledge and safe driving skills) for motorbike drivers (including electric motorbikes).
The program takes place from the afternoon of April 19 to the morning of April 21.
