The number of applications for university and college admission in 2025 is 7.6 million. The average number of applications per candidate is 8.9.
The ratio of candidates registering for university admission/the ratio of candidates registering for high school graduation exam is 73.23%.
In particular, the number of candidates registering for admission in 2025 increased by 115,892 compared to 2024 because this year there were more candidates registering for admission to vocational colleges.

During the time candidates registered and adjusted their university and college admission wishes in 2025, the system operated stably. Currently, there are still some candidates who submitted their registration information close to the end of the admission period, so the system is continuing to process.
According to the general schedule of the Ministry of Education and Training, from July 29 to 5:00 p.m. on August 5, candidates must pay the admission fee according to the number of wishes online according to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training.
The Ministry of Education and Training will upload the database to the system and organize the admission process. After 6 virtual filtering rounds, by 5:00 p.m. on August 20, schools will enter the admission scores and admission results into the system, review and prepare to announce the first round of admission results according to the general schedule.
Before 5:00 p.m. on August 30, all admitted candidates must confirm their enrollment on the system (if they wish to study).
From September 1 to December 2025, candidates who need to apply for additional admission rounds must follow the admission information posted on the training institution's admission information page.
