Nearly 96,800 new trees were planted in schools.

Implementing the Project "Planting one billion trees in the period of 2021 - 2025", schools in Khanh Hoa province have planted nearly 96,800 trees on campus; of which, about 13,000 trees are in urban areas and more than 83,800 trees are in rural areas.

Recently, the Department of Education and Training has launched a tree planting movement in the whole sector. Schools have promoted and mobilized organizations and individuals to actively support tree planting in school grounds; launched and responded to the movement "Tet tree planting to forever remember Uncle Ho"; increased resource mobilization to plant, care for and protect trees, contributing to building a green - clean - beautiful learning environment. Some schools have also actively organized for students to participate in tree planting and afforestation experiences to educate awareness of environmental protection.
