Photo exhibition on preventing and combating human trafficking and gender-based violence

On the afternoon of November 13, the Department of Political Work - Ministry of Public Security coordinated with Khanh Hoa Provincial Police to organize the opening of the photo exhibition "Propaganda, dissemination of laws, guidance on skills to prevent and combat human trafficking; prevention and combat of gender-based violence".

Delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate the exhibition.

The exhibition displays more than 150 photos reflecting the current situation of human trafficking and gender-based violence in Vietnam in recent times and the contributions of all levels and sectors in the fight against human trafficking and gender-based violence, and in rescuing and supporting victims of human trafficking and gender-based violence.

The exhibition also includes activities to disseminate the Law on Prevention and Combat of Human Trafficking; warnings about methods and tricks of human trafficking criminals; results of fighting and handling human trafficking cases, the exploitative nature of human trafficking crimes; and subjects at high risk of becoming victims of human trafficking crimes. Coming to the exhibition, viewers can also experience common forms of fraud today and be guided on preventive measures.

Previously, the Department of Political Affairs - Ministry of Public Security held a ceremony to receive the martyrs' artifacts and typical events of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police, including: The People's Police uniform of Martyr Hoang Van Yen - former Deputy Head of Khanh Thanh Commune Police, Khanh Vinh District (old) donated by the Martyr's family; the signboard of Nha Trang City Police Headquarters, the signboard of Dien Khanh District Police Headquarters; the Sirius motorbike used in the 199D drug case on March 26, 2025 by officers of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department; Decision to prosecute the case, Certificate of Merit of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman and the Grab uniform used by the detectives during the investigation in the 524M drug case in Ninh Thuan Province (old). These are artifacts of historical significance, honoring the achievements and feats of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police force.

The organization of receiving artifacts aims to preserve and promote historical values, contributing to enriching the cultural heritage of the People's Public Security. Thereby, educating the tradition for officers and soldiers, especially the young generation, to learn and follow the example of the previous generation, to strive to study, practice, maintain discipline, strive to excellently complete tasks, contribute to ensuring national security, maintaining social order and safety, for the peaceful and happy life of the people.
