In the context of Vietnam and China conducting a series of events to celebrate the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations (January 18, 1950 - January 18, 2025), the Vietnam-China media exchange program took place on April 10 in Hanoi.

The event was organized by Voice of Vietnam in coordination with Guangxi Press Office and Guangxi Radio and Television Station, China.

Mr. Ngo Minh Hien, Deputy General Director of the Voice of Vietnam; Mr. Le Phan, Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region; representatives of Guangxi Radio and Television Station (China); representatives of Vietnamese departments, ministries and branches; leaders of the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam; young journalists and media students of Vietnam and China attended the program.

With 3 parts: Launching ceremony of the co-produced documentary "The Development Path," Launching ceremony of the Program "Vietnam-China Media Exchange 2025"; exchange and discussion "Vietnamese-Chinese Youth in the Digital Media Age," the program is a meaningful activity, contributing to promoting mutual understanding between the people of the two countries and strengthening friendship between the two sides.

The documentary "The Road to Development" was co-produced by the Voice of Vietnam and Guangxi Radio and Television. This is a key project directed by the Central Propaganda Department of the Communist Party of China and the Central Propaganda Department of the Communist Party of Vietnam (currently the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department).

The 60-minute documentary consists of two episodes, each 30 minutes long.

Episode 1 of the film focuses on the history of the relationship between the two countries, effectively conveying the content from the past to the new era, emphasizing that Vietnam and China have always maintained their original loyal friendship, continuing on the path of friendship opened by the leaders of both sides.

Volume 2 introduces the achievements of cooperation in all fields between China and Vietnam from economy, trade, culture, health, tourism, green technology...

Through multi-dimensional and multi-level stories, it is clear that the substantive cooperation between the two sides has brought practical benefits to the people of the two countries, while highlighting the strong vitality and unlimited potential of common development between China and Vietnam.

At the same time, the program "Vietnam-China Media Exchange 2025" was officially opened.

According to the program, the parties will send reporters to co-produce programs on economic cooperation, regional development, people-to-people exchange, and border area connectivity.

It is expected that from April to June 2025, reporters from the two countries will visit locations such as Guangxi, Guizhou, Sichuan, Chongqing, Hanoi, and Ho Chi Minh City to produce programs related to the above topics.

Part 3 of the exchange and discussion with the theme "Vietnamese-Chinese Youth in the Digital Media Age" with the participation of leaders of press agencies and young journalists from Vietnam and China, helps students and young journalists have a better approach to digital technology applied in the field of journalism and media, thereby creating quality press products to promote the beauty of culture and people to strengthen the good friendship between the two countries.

Within the framework of the event, participants will enjoy traditional cultural spaces, such as: performing the art of making to he figurines, performing Vietnamese ca tru, Chinese paper cutting and toy making, visiting booths displaying products developed from AI, robot and VR technology.../.
