Garnacho was repeatedly rejected

Alejandro Garnacho cannot leave MU with only about 2 weeks left in the summer transfer window, despite being invited to 3 clubs participating in the Champions League.

Many teams refused to buy Garnacho.

According to Manchester Evening News , Arsenal, Tottenham and Atletico Madrid are all closely monitoring Garnacho before deciding to pursue other options to strengthen their attack in the summer of 2025.

Arsenal signed Noni Madueke from Chelsea and targeted Crystal Palace's Eberechi Eze, while Tottenham were also interested in Eze and in talks to sign Savinho from Man City. Atletico considered reuniting with Garnacho but eventually opted to sign Alex Baena from Villarreal.

Chelsea are the most likely destination. Garnacho's representatives, Carlos Cambeiro and Enrique de Lucas, have been working with Chelsea since January. Manager Ruben Amorim gave Garnacho the green light to leave in May, after the 21-year-old publicly expressed his displeasure at being benched immediately after the Europa League final defeat to Tottenham.

Relations between the two sides deteriorated last December, when Amorim dropped Garnacho and Rashford from the match against Man City for unprofessional behaviour. He also caused controversy with a series of social media posts, notably wearing an Aston Villa shirt with Rashford's name on it.

Garnacho did not join MU on the US tour and had to train separately at Carrington. Joining from Atletico's academy in 2020, Garnacho played 144 matches, scored 28 goals, and helped MU win the 2024 FA Cup. However, with a series of cracks in the dressing room, the day Garnacho left Old Trafford is not far away.
