Specifically, the delivery price for July 2025 was 4,865 USD/ton; the delivery price for September 2025 was 4,860 USD/ton; the delivery price for November 2025 was 4,830 USD/ton and the delivery price for January 2026 was 4,754 USD/ton.

Arabica coffee price on New York floor on May 18, 2025

Similarly, the price of Arabica coffee on the New York floor in the early morning of May 18 was little changed compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 349.40 and 374.10 cents/lb. Specifically, the July 2025 delivery period was 365.65 cents/lb; the September 2025 delivery period was 362.50 cents/lb; the December 2025 delivery period was 357.50 cents/lb and the March 2026 delivery period was 351.70 cents/lb.

Robusta coffee traded on the ICE Futures Europe (London exchange) opens at 16:00 and closes at 00:30 (next day) Vietnam time. Arabica coffee traded on the ICE Futures US (New York exchange) opens at 16:15 and closes at 01:30 (next day) Vietnam time. For Arabica coffee traded on the B3 Brazil exchange, it will open from 19:00 - 02:35 (next day) Vietnam time.

According to information from Giacaphe.com, updated at 4:30 a.m. today, May 18, 2025, coffee prices in the Central Highlands provinces have turned to decrease, with a decrease of 1,000 - 1,400 VND/kg compared to yesterday's trading session. Currently, the average coffee purchase price in key areas is at 125,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, today's coffee price in Dak Lak is 125,000 VND/kg, coffee price in Lam Dong is 124,500 VND/kg, coffee price in Gia Lai is 125,000 VND/kg and coffee price in Dak Nong today is 125,200 VND/kg.

According to analysts, the recent decline in coffee prices on the London exchange is mainly due to Brazil's upcoming harvest and the market awaiting the outcome of negotiations regarding reciprocal tariffs with the US. In contrast, Arabica coffee prices have remained stable thanks to the main supply from Brazil.

In the domestic market, the amount of coffee in the hands of the people is still very small, only about 15%. Farmers are selling sparingly, not in large quantities, because the price is not attractive enough.

Overall, this year's coffee supply is assessed to be insufficient to meet demand, but due to the complex geopolitical situation, importers no longer tend to hoard as before but instead switch to buying just enough to minimize risks.

Vietnamese coffee prices edged down slightly from last week, while in Indonesia, the discount was also narrowed as new-crop coffee began to appear on the market. However, some traders said supplies remained quite limited. Vietnamese farmers are holding on to their stocks, believing that current prices are still low, while Brazil and Indonesia also do not have abundant supplies.

Recently, the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) has revised its forecast for Brazil's coffee crop production in the 2025-2026 crop year to 55 million bags, up 2.3% from the previous forecast. Of these, 37 million bags will be Arabica coffee and 18 million bags will be Conilon Robusta coffee.
