Regarding rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, the current price of OM 380 rice (fresh) increased by 100 VND/kg, fluctuating between 5,300 - 5,500 VND/kg; the price of OM 5451 rice (fresh) increased by 100 VND/kg, fluctuating between 6,000 - 6,200 VND/kg; the price of IR 50404 rice (fresh) fluctuated between 5,200 - 5,400 VND/kg; the price of Dai Thom 8 rice (fresh) was at 6,800 VND/kg; the price of OM 18 rice (fresh) was at 6,800 VND/kg; the price of OM 380 rice (fresh) was fluctuating between 5,300 - 5,500 VND/kg; The price of Nang Hoa 9 rice fluctuates at 6,650 - 6,750 VND/kg.

In many localities today, early Summer-Autumn rice supply is low, prices are relatively stable. In An Giang , Summer-Autumn rice is harvested sporadically, buying and selling transactions are slow, prices fluctuate slightly.

In Kien Giang, the early Summer-Autumn rice harvest is low, transactions are sporadic, and prices are stagnant. In Dong Thap, the early Summer-Autumn rice transaction is slow, and prices fluctuate little. In Can Tho , the demand for new Summer-Autumn rice is low, and prices are stable.

Recorded in localities today, the supply of 50404, OM 380 varieties is low, transactions are quiet, warehouses give stable purchase prices. In An Giang, rice volume is low, transactions are stable, buying and selling are slow. In Lap Vo (Dong Thap), the volume is sporadic, prices of all types of rice are stable. In Sa Dec (Dong Thap), rice of all types is stable, transactions are slow.

At retail markets, the prices of all types of rice remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg; regular rice fluctuates at VND14,000 - 15,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at VND16,000 - 18,000/kg; common white rice fluctuates at VND16,000/kg; Soc rice often fluctuates at VND17,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at VND20,000 - 22,000/kg; Huong Lai rice 22,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice 21,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice 20,000/kg; Soc Thai rice 20,000/kg; Japanese rice 22,000/kg.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices remained stable compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), currently 5% standard rice is at 397 USD/ton; 25% broken rice is at 368 USD/ton; 100% broken rice is at 325 USD/ton.
