Gas prices to decrease slightly from early June 2025

Since the beginning of June 2025, domestic retail gas prices have decreased by about VND5,000 per 12kg cylinder compared to the previous month. The reason for the decrease in domestic gas prices is that world suppliers announced an average fuel price of USD585 per ton, a decrease of USD15 per ton compared to May 2025.

The reduction in gas prices helps consumers reduce cost pressure and balance their monthly spending. Currently, the price of common gas ranges from 461,000 to 484,000 VND/12kg cylinder, depending on the brand. Since the beginning of 2025, domestic retail gas prices have decreased 3 times (January, March and June), increased once (February) and remained unchanged twice (April and May).
