In the North , the price of live pigs today is generally stable in most localities, however, some places recorded a slight decrease. Specifically, Thai Nguyen decreased by 1,000 VND/kg, bringing the purchase price down to 67,000 VND/kg.
The remaining provinces such as Hanoi , Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Bac Giang, Hung Yen, Ha Nam, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Nam Dinh, Ha Tinh continue to keep prices stable at around 66,000 - 68,000 VND/kg. The North is currently the region with the lowest pork price in the country.
The Central and Central Highlands regions recorded no new fluctuations today. Localities such as Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Dak Lak, Binh Phuoc ... all kept the same price compared to yesterday, commonly from 69,000 - 75,000 VND/kg.
Lam Dong still maintains the highest level in the region at 75,000 VND/kg.
In the South , some localities recorded price reductions today. Specifically, Dong Nai, Ben Tre and Tay Ninh all decreased by 1,000 VND/kg, the purchase price was 75,000 VND/kg and 74,000 VND/kg, respectively.
Meanwhile, provinces such as Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Long An, Dong Thap, An Giang, Vinh Long, Can Tho, Hau Giang, Kien Giang, Ca Mau, Bac Lieu, Soc Trang and Ba Ria - Vung Tau still keep the same price, ranging from 74,000 - 76,000 VND/kg.
The live hog market today shows a slight downward trend in the South, while the North continues to maintain a low price level, with many provinces having prices around 66,000 - 68,000 VND/kg.
