Immediately after detecting an outbreak of African swine fever in Pleiku City, the Gia Lai Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine issued an official dispatch on implementing measures to prevent and control African swine fever in Gia Lai province.

Accordingly, the Gia Lai Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine requested the Department of Economics - Infrastructure and Urban Areas, the Pleiku City Agricultural Service Center to coordinate with the Tay Son Ward People's Committee to deploy measures to handle the outbreak.
