Gia Lai province has surveyed mineral mines in the province to serve the Quy Nhon - Pleiku expressway construction investment project and key projects of the province. |
Mr. Luu Trung Nghia, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Gia Lai province, said that the Department has reviewed the localities where the Quy Nhon - Pleiku expressway passes through, including Mang Yang, Dak Doa, Dak Po and An Khe, to integrate into the planning and land use plan. Up to now, the Provincial People's Committee has planned to allocate 1,800 hectares of land for mineral exploitation and leveling to the localities.
In addition, the Department has surveyed 60 earth quarries with a total reserve of about 4 million m3 and 38 construction stone quarries with about 3 million m3. This source of materials will serve the Quy Nhon - Pleiku expressway construction project as well as other key projects of the province. The Department has also worked with Project Management Board 2 and has basically met the requirements for mineral materials for construction.
Regarding the expressway project, the Government has also assigned Gia Lai and Binh Dinh provinces to coordinate in implementing compensation and site clearance work.
Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee requested relevant units to speed up the preparation of investment procedures, construction and disbursement of public investment capital. At the same time, it is necessary to urgently prepare sufficient materials for the expressway project to quickly connect the two localities.
It is known that recently the Government has submitted Document No. 424/TTr - CP to the National Assembly on the Pre-Feasibility Study Report of the Quy Nhon - Pleiku Expressway Construction Investment Project.
