Regarding rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, the price of OM 5451 rice (fresh) increased by 200 VND/kg, fluctuating between 6,200 - 6,400 VND/kg; the price of IR 50404 rice (fresh) increased by 200 VND/kg, fluctuating between 5,400 - 5,600 VND/kg; the price of OM 380 rice (fresh) fluctuated between 5,200 - 5,400 VND/kg; the price of Dai Thom 8 rice (fresh) was at 6,800 VND/kg; the price of OM 18 rice (fresh) was at 6,800 VND/kg; the price of Nang Hoa 9 rice fluctuated between 6,650 - 6,750 VND/kg.

In many localities today, dry rice is being traded sporadically, mainly market warehouses asking to buy, the summer-autumn rice supply is low, prices tend to increase again. In An Giang , farmers are offering to sell summer-autumn rice sporadically, demand is better, prices fluctuate.

In Dong Thap, Summer-Autumn rice is harvested slowly, traders buy slowly, causing prices to increase. In Can Tho , transactions are more active, traders ask to buy more, prices are relatively stable. In Kien Giang, Summer-Autumn rice transactions are slow, prices fluctuate little.

Regarding rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, currently, IR 504 raw rice fluctuates at 7,900 - 8,000 VND/kg; CL 555 raw rice fluctuates at 8,400 - 8,500 VND/kg; OM 380 raw rice fluctuates at 7,950 - 8,050 VND/kg; 5451 raw rice fluctuates at 9,450 - 9,550 VND/kg; OM 18 raw rice fluctuates at 10,200 - 10,400 VND/kg; OM 380 finished rice fluctuates at 8,800 - 9,000 VND/kg; IR 504 finished rice fluctuates at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg.

As for by-products, the prices of by-products fluctuate from 7,400 - 10,000 VND/kg. Currently, OM 504 broken rice fluctuates at 7,400 - 7,600 VND/kg; the price of bran fluctuates at 9,000 - 10,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Recorded in localities today, the supply of 50404 and OM 380 varieties is low, warehouses are buying moderately, prices are stable, while prices of other types of rice are relatively stable. In An Giang, the supply is low, transactions are slow, prices fluctuate little. In Lap Vo (Dong Thap), the supply is sporadic, all types of rice are stable. In Sa Dec (Dong Thap), the buying and selling is slow, raw rice of all types fluctuates little.

Sa Dec market canal (Dong Thap), the volume is slow, the market warehouse buys regularly, all kinds of rice are stable. At An Cu (Cai Be, Tien Giang), the volume is small, the new fragrant rice has increased slightly, the transaction is slow.

At retail markets, the prices of all types of rice remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg; regular rice fluctuates at VND14,000 - 15,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at VND16,000 - 18,000/kg; common white rice fluctuates at VND16,000/kg; Soc rice often fluctuates at VND16,000 - 17,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at VND20,000 - 22,000/kg; Huong Lai rice 22,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice 21,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice 20,000/kg; Thai Soc rice 20,000/kg; Japanese rice 22,000/kg.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices remained stable compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), currently 5% standard rice is at 396 USD/ton; 25% broken rice is at 366 USD/ton; 100% broken rice is at 323 USD/ton.
