Fuel prices and gold prices both fall

Last week (from July 14 to 18), fuel prices decreased slightly. Specifically, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline decreased by VND178/liter, to VND19,481/liter; RON 95 gasoline decreased by VND165/liter, with a maximum retail price of VND19,925/liter. Similarly, the price of diesel oil decreased by VND38/liter, to VND18,799/liter; fuel oil decreased by VND85/kg, to VND15,478/kg. Kerosene alone increased by VND58/liter, with a maximum retail price of VND18,429/liter.

Gold prices this week also “turned around” to decrease. Specifically, the current SJC gold bar price is 119.5 million VND/tael for buying and 121 million VND/tael for selling, down 500 thousand VND/tael for selling compared to the end of last week.

At the first-class markets in the province such as Bien Hoa, Long Khanh, Long Thanh, Phuong Lam, the prices of many types of food are quite stable.
