Fuel prices and gold prices both decrease

Last week (from July 14 to 18), fuel prices decreased slightly. Specifically, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline decreased by VND178/liter, to VND19,481/liter; RON 95 gasoline decreased by VND165/liter, with a maximum retail price of VND19,925/liter. Similarly, the price of diesel oil decreased by VND38/liter, to VND18,799/liter; fuel oil decreased by VND85/kg, to VND15,478/kg. Kerosene alone increased by VND58/liter, with a maximum retail price of VND18,429/liter.

Gold prices also reversed course and fell this week. Specifically, the buying price of SJC gold bars is currently 119.5 million VND/ounce, and the selling price is 121 million VND/ounce, a decrease of 500,000 VND/ounce in both buying and selling prices compared to the end of last week.

At first-class markets in the province such as Bien Hoa, Long Khanh, Long Thanh, and Phuong Lam, the prices of many food items are quite stable.
