Durian price today May 28: Thai durian in the Southeast continues to increase

In mid-June, the European Union (EU) will send an inspection team to Vietnam for 10 days to monitor and inspect the control of pesticide residues on a number of agricultural export products, including durian, dragon fruit and chili.

The EU inspection team will work in Binh Thuan, Long An, Tien Giang and Ho Chi Minh City, visiting growing areas and processing and packaging facilities. They will also survey and discuss with quality control units in Vietnam.

As planned, the delegation started working in Binh Thuan on June 11, then moved to the Western provinces.

The inspected establishments are required to prepare documents on food safety, production process, traceability and develop summary reports.
