The company, whose director is Mr. Bui Quang An (born in 1984), registered to produce organic substrate from mango seeds and peels on an area of 5,020.8 square meters. However, an actual inspection showed that the enterprise used about 28,000 square meters, of which more than 19,700 square meters was rice land that had not been converted to another purpose.

The interdisciplinary inspection team discovered that the company was discharging leachate from the process of fermenting and drying mango seed shells directly into the environment without treatment. The water was dark brown in color, had a foul odor, and flowed naturally into the pond and surrounding area because there was no bottom lining and no wastewater collection and treatment system.
At the time of inspection, the company was storing about 5,000 tons of common solid waste (mango peels and seeds), of which more than 250 tons were weighed at the scene. The company director admitted to collecting mango peels and seeds at a price of 450 VND/kg and manually processing them.

Currently, the provincial police are completing the documents to strictly handle according to the law on environmental protection.
