According to records, pork prices continued to be quiet at the WinMart store system this morning. In particular, boneless ham products were stable at 127,922 VND/kg. Ground pork is currently sold at 119,922 VND/kg.
Pork price today
According to the latest survey on winmart.vn, the price of Meat Deli chilled pork remains stable, sold at prices ranging from 119,922 - 163,122 VND/kg and discounted 20% according to the preferential program for WinMart members.
Accordingly, ground pork is currently selling at the lowest price, listed at 119,922 VND/kg. Slightly higher are lean pork leg and lean pork shoulder, priced at 122,320 VND/kg and 126,320 VND/kg, respectively.
At Ha Hien Fresh Food Company, pork prices remained stable this morning. Currently, pork products are sold at prices ranging from 89,000 - 190,000 VND/kg.
Of these, pork fat has the lowest price among the surveyed products, listed at VND89,000/kg. Next is lean pork leg, which is being sold at VND126,000/kg. Slightly higher are pork ribs and lean pork shoulder, with respective selling prices of VND134,000/kg and VND136,000/kg.
Pig price today
In the Northern market, the price of live pigs today mainly fluctuated between 60,000 - 62,000 VND/kg. Except for Hai Phong, which slightly decreased by 1,000 VND, down to 61,000 VND/kg, the remaining localities did not have significant fluctuations.
Hanoi and Hung Yen continue to maintain the highest regional price – 62,000 VND/kg. The common price of 61,000 VND/kg is recorded in Bac Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Quang Ninh and Lao Cai. Some mountainous provinces such as Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Son La recorded lower prices, fluctuating around 60,000 VND/kg.
The market in this region is still cautious, as purchasing power from slaughterhouses has not really accelerated, causing prices to stay within a narrow range.
Pig prices in the Central Highlands and Central Vietnam remained almost unchanged. Nghe An was the only bright spot with a slight decrease of VND1,000 to VND60,000/kg. Gia Lai continued to be the locality with the lowest price nationwide – VND59,000/kg. The remaining provinces such as Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak and Lam Dong are currently trading around VND60,000 – 63,000/kg.
Although there have been no major fluctuations in this area, consumption is still being held back as commercial activities have not fully recovered after the main agricultural season. This is a factor that makes it difficult for prices to increase sharply in the short term.
In the South, the market recorded some slight decreases in Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho, both down to 63,000 VND/kg - down 1,000 VND compared to yesterday. Ca Mau still leads the country with the highest price - 65,000 VND/kg. Tay Ninh remained at 64,000 VND/kg, while Dong Nai, Dong Thap, An Giang and Lam Dong were stable at around 63,000 VND/kg. Vinh Long recorded 62,000 VND/kg.
The price range in the South is currently fluctuating between VND59,000 and VND65,000 per kilogram. The downward pressure is mainly seen in large cities, where fresh meat consumption has yet to pick up.
