According to the record on the morning of November 23, the domestic pepper market continued to increase by 500 VND/kg in most key growing areas. The common purchasing price is currently fluctuating between 146,500 - 148,000 VND/kg, showing that the positive trend is maintained.

World pepper market is stable

According to an update from the International Pepper Community (IPC) at 4:30 a.m. on November 23 (Vietnam time), pepper prices in the world market have not been adjusted compared to the previous session. This stability has contributed to creating a foundation for domestic pepper prices to maintain their upward momentum.

Pepper prices in major markets around the world are listed as follows:

  • Indonesia: Lampung black pepper remained at USD 7,104/ton; Muntok white pepper was stable at USD 9,673/ton.
  • Malaysia: ASTA black pepper remained at USD 9,200/ton; ASTA white pepper anchored at USD 12,300/ton.
  • Brazil: ASTA black pepper price remains around 6,100 USD/ton.
  • Vietnam (export): Price of 500 gr/l black pepper is 6,400 USD/ton, 550 gr/l is 6,600 USD/ton; price of white pepper is at 9,050 USD/ton.

Experts predict that domestic pepper prices may continue to maintain positive developments in the coming time, as businesses are increasing the collection of raw materials to serve year-end production needs and prepare for orders in the first quarter of 2026.
