Quang culture is a part of the general flow of national culture, those cultural values ​​were created by Quang people in the process of exploring the land "Coming here, the river water is strange. Even the birds are scared, the fish are scared". Due to geographical characteristics, Quang culture was formed in the overall culture of the Central region based on the foundation of Sa Huynh culture and Champa culture converging from the "localization" of East Asian and South Asian culture. It can be said that few places have the depth and diversity of cultural sediments like here.

The residents who survived on Quang land in the past were migrants who appeared very early in the history of development, interacting with the Cham people and other ethnic groups in the mountainous areas, who united to build and protect their homeland. The process of cohabitation inevitably led to cultural exchanges between communities, creating the unique cultural features of a land. Besides the exchange with the culture of the post-capital period of Tra Kieu and Dong Duong, the community also interacted with foreign cultures in the late 16th and early 17th centuries, when Lord Nguyen in Dang Trong opened trade with Asia and Western countries, building the commercial port city of Hoi An.

Next to the ancient and talented Hoi An, the concession city of Da Nang was formed. Although small, it is the economic center of Quang Nam. Along with the folk festival activities, Quang is also the cradle of many lively folk songs, chants, lullabies, and operas. Lullabies and fairy tales of ethnic minorities in the mountainous areas express the spiritual life of the community when facing the harsh natural conditions of the mountains and forests. The chants and melodies of the residents in the plains, river areas, and coastal areas express diligence, patience, and hard work, but are full of lyricism and romance.

Folk games, especially singing Bai Choi, praising love, parental love, teacher-student love, according to the traditional ethical standards of the nation, express the thoughts, feelings, aspirations, and ambitions of people. That is also the ethical standard of the people of Quang. So that every time we go far away, we have moments of nostalgia remembering the profound melodies. It maintains friendly, close, harmonious feelings, and fosters love for the homeland and life.

3. The traditional cultural values ​​of a land are a direct and extremely important factor in shaping the character of a person. Quang is a land with a tradition of patriotism, self-reliance, and great sacrifice. This is where many outstanding patriots and reformers were born: Pham Phu Thu, Hoang Dieu, Ong Ich Khiem, Nguyen Duy Hieu, Tran Cao Van, Phan Chau Trinh, Tran Quy Cap, Huynh Thuc Khang... Quang people have a tradition of studiousness and progress; valuing letters and respecting love, "Do not covet a full basket of rice. Covet three lines of letters to be a teacher of the world".

Being the place with many famous scholars and patriots, Quang Nam became a famous land of learning. That also created the mettle of Quang Nam people in cultural behavior as a foundation for them to confidently and firmly enter the era of development of the country.
