At Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC), the closing price was 98.4-100.4 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 200,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling compared to yesterday.

The retail price of DOJI gold bars is currently listed at VND98.4 million/tael (buy) and VND100.7 million/tael (sell), an increase of VND800,000/tael for buying and VND1.3 million/tael for selling, compared to the close of the previous trading session.

Bao Tin Minh Chau gold price is currently buying at 98.5 million VND/tael and selling at 100.7 million VND/tael, an increase of 200,000 VND/tael for buying and 500,000 VND/tael for selling, compared to the previous session.

According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 4am today, Vietnam time, was 3,083.39 USD/ounce. Today's gold price increased by 0.28% compared to yesterday. Converted according to the USD exchange rate on the free market (25,868 VND/USD), the world gold price is about 96.1 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is 4.3 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.

Forecasting the gold price trend, according to financial market analyst Kyle Rodda of Capital, US trade policy, fiscal policy, geopolitics and growth slowdown will continue to support the world gold market.

He predicts that $3,100/ounce will be the next important milestone for world gold prices.

In its latest commodities report, analysts at Bank of America forecast gold prices to average $3,063 an ounce this year. They forecast gold prices to rise to $3,350 an ounce by 2026, up from their previous average forecasts of $2,750 an ounce and $2,625 an ounce, respectively.
