At 9:20 a.m., SJC gold price at Saigon Jewelry Company and Doji was listed at 117.80-119.80 million VND/tael, down 1.5 million VND/tael compared to the previous closing price.
Similarly, the price of gold rings at Phu Quy Company is currently trading at 113-116 million VND/tael (buy-sell), down 1 million VND per tael.
Bao Tin Minh Chau Company announced the price of plain round gold rings from 116.2-119.2 million VND/tael (buy/sell), down 500,000 VND/tael compared to the previous closing price.
The price of SJC 999.9 gold rings also dropped sharply by 1.5 million VND per tael, currently trading around 112.5-115 million VND/tael.
Although gold prices have decreased, businesses still leave a difference of 2.5-3 million VND per tael, which puts the risk on the customer.
In the world, the price of gold is fluctuating around 3,261 USD/ounce, up more than 21 USD compared to the same time last session. This price is equivalent to 103 million VND/tael when converted according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank, 16 million VND lower than the domestic gold price.
This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate at 25,944 VND/USD, down 12 VND compared to the previous session. With a margin of +/-5%, Vietcombank bought at 25,800 VND/USD and sold at 26,190 VND/USD, up 20 VND compared to the previous session.
VietinBank traded from 25,808-26,168 VND/USD, down 12 VND compared to the previous session's close.
However, BIDV and Eximbank both have no fluctuations, currently trading from 25,780-26,160 VND./.
