Domestic gold price continues to increase, 20 million VND higher than world price

On the first morning of the new month (September 1), the price of SJC gold bars remained stable but gold rings continued to rise. Currently, the price of precious metals in the country is about 20.5 million VND/tael higher than the world price.

For gold rings, Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited sets the price of plain round gold rings at 122.8 million VND/tael (buy) - 125.8 million VND/tael (sell), an increase of 200,000 VND/tael each way.

Phu Quy Group set the price at 122.6 million VND/tael (buy) - 125.6 million VND/tael (sell) instead of 122.3 million VND/tael (buy) - 125.3 million VND/tael (sell).

On the international market, the world gold price increased sharply this morning. At 10am, the price of the precious metal was trading at 3,474.1 USD/ounce, up 25 USD/ounce.

Two Kitco surveys on gold prices this week mostly predict an increase. According to the survey with the participation of 14 experts, 12 people predict gold prices to increase, 2 people think prices will stay the same.

Meanwhile, an online survey of 179 investors showed that 68% thought prices would go up, 17% thought prices would go down, and the rest thought prices would go sideways.
