Gasoline prices fluctuate, RON 95-III close to 19,500 VND per liter

Today gasoline prices fell, while oil prices rose

From 3:00 p.m. on May 22, the price of RON 95-III gasoline decreased by 60 VND, down to 19,530 VND/liter, E5 RON 92 also decreased by a similar amount, down to 19,120 VND/liter.

In contrast, oil prices increased by 90 - 350 VND/liter. Compared to 7 days ago, diesel prices increased by 180 VND, to 17,400 VND/liter. Kerosene and fuel oil have new prices of 17,310 VND/liter and 16,510 VND/kg, respectively.

Thus, since the beginning of the year, domestic gasoline prices have undergone 21 adjustment sessions, including 9 decrease sessions, 8 increase sessions and 4 opposite sessions.

The Government is submitting to the National Assembly a 2% reduction in value-added tax (VAT) on some items subject to a 10% rate until the end of 2026. Unlike previous times, this is the first time gasoline and oil products have been included in the VAT reduction list.
