Most Venerable Thich Gia Quang - Vice President of the Executive Council, Head of the Information and Communications Department of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS), Head of the Organizing Committee of the Award affirmed the indispensable role of the press in conveying the humanistic and ethical values of Buddhism to the community at home and abroad.
Since its launch on June 18, 2024, the 2024 National Buddhist Journalism Awards has received enthusiastic responses from press agencies, reporters, journalists, and collaborators nationwide. Many quality works, bearing the mark of the times and the spirit of Buddhism, have been submitted.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded a total of 39 prizes to outstanding works.
In addition, the Organizing Committee has also officially launched the second Buddhist Journalism Award - 2025. The theme of the next award will truly and deeply reflect Buddhist life, Buddhist activities, and the values of Compassion - Wisdom - Service in Buddhism. The time to receive works begins on June 6, 2025 and ends on January 5, 2026.
