Golf Tournament Joining Hands for Traffic Safety awards cars to athletes who achieve HIO

According to Mr. Nguyen Ba Kien - Editor-in-Chief of Giao Thong Newspaper, Head of the Organizing Committee - there are 2 HIO prizes with prizes being cars from sponsors.

In addition, the organizers will award many valuable prizes to the champion, the female golfer with the best Net score, the first, second and third places in groups A, B and C. Technical prizes include the closest to the flag, the longest drive and the closest to the line.

The 2023 Golf Tournament for Traffic Safety brings together 220 golfers divided into 3 groups, competing in 18-hole stroke play, according to R&A rules and the course's own rules recorded on the scorecard or the course's notice board. Points are calculated according to HDC day (System 36).

The launching ceremony of the Golf Tournament Joining Hands for Traffic Safety took place today, October 24.

The tournament is an annual sports event organized by Giao Thong Newspaper, Hyundai Thanh Cong Automobile Joint Venture is the diamond sponsor.

" All the money collected from sponsorship and support after deducting expenses will be transferred to the fund of the Traffic Safety Program ," said Mr. Nguyen Ba Kien.

" In 2022 alone, we built 3 bridges, 8 gratitude houses in the Mekong Delta region and hundreds of other gifts for traffic accident victims in difficult circumstances. This year, we are also planning to build a bridge in Son La ," Mr. Kien added.

After 4 times of organization, the tournament has become more and more professional. Mr. Nguyen Ba Kien, on behalf of the organizing committee, committed: " The scale of this year's tournament is larger, the organization will also be more professional and methodical to bring the best experience to the players ".

Golf tournament for traffic safety 2023 will take place on October 29 at Hoang Gia course, Ninh Binh .
