Charity golf tournament to buy books for children in rural areas

On the occasion of the 9th anniversary of the journey of sowing knowledge (2016 - 2025), Xom Dao Library (Hanh Nhan commune, Nghia Hanh district, Quang Ngai) organized an annual fundraising golf tournament.

In particular, this year's golf tournament promises to be extremely attractive with a Hole-in-One (HIO) prize of 100 million VND in cash to buy books for children.

The event took place on July 5, 2025 at BRG Legend Danang Golf Course, not only a sports playground but also a gathering place for golden hearts, friends of the library to join hands for the mission of spreading reading culture.

The most notable highlight of this tournament is the special HIO award. The first golfer to successfully make a "hole in the hole" at the designated golf hole will not only receive glory but also win a prize of 100 million VND.

According to information from the Organizing Committee, the winner will be required to use all of this money to buy books. This is a practical form of sponsorship, converting the value of a peak sporting moment directly into knowledge.

After 9 years of persistent operation under the guidance of its dedicated founder, Mr. Nguyen Van Phap, Xom Dao Library has become a home of knowledge for hundreds of young readers. From a small bookshelf, the library has developed into a spacious cultural space with about 17,000 books.

All funds raised from the golf tournament will be used to maintain operations, upgrade facilities and continue implementing creative reading promotion programs, helping students have the opportunity to access the vast world through each page of a book.
