Disbursement of capital for 3 national target programs reached over 50%.

(HG) - According to the Steering Committee of the National Target Programs for the 2021-2025 period in Hau Giang province, the total disbursement value of the 3 National Target Programs in the first 2 months of 2024 was VND 50,596 billion/VND 100,242 billion, reaching 50.47% of the plan. Of which, the National Target Program for Socio -Economic Development in Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas disbursed VND 11,829 billion/VND 13,763 billion, reaching 85.95% of the plan; the National Target Program for Sustainable Poverty Reduction disbursed VND 3,569 billion, reaching 100% of the plan; the National Target Program for New Rural Development disbursed VND 35,198 billion/VND 82,910 billion, reaching 42.45% of the plan. Regarding the career capital, 42 million VND has been disbursed under the National Target Program for Sustainable Poverty Reduction; the remaining capital under the 3 programs is 136,538 billion VND that has not been disbursed.

The national target program on new rural construction disbursed 42.45% of the plan.

According to the Provincial Steering Committee for National Target Programs for the 2021-2025 period, the disbursement progress of investment capital in the first two months of 2024 reached over 50%, the demand for investment capital is very large, while the allocation of the medium-term capital plan for 2021-2025 is still limited, affecting the completion of the tasks assigned by the Central Government.
