The program requires the thorough understanding and comprehensive and synchronous implementation of the main goals, tasks and solutions according to the contents of Conclusion No. 123-KL/TW and Resolution No. 192/2025/QH15, closely linked to the political tasks of localities, agencies, units and in accordance with the actual situation of the city; creating a strong change in the awareness, role and responsibility of Party committees at all levels, authorities, organizations and cadres and Party members in implementing socio-economic development in 2025. The city strives to achieve the economic growth target in 2025 at an increase of 10.5-11% compared to 2024; actively contributing to the overall growth target of the whole country, completing with the highest results the Resolution of the 15th City Party Congress, term 2020-2025, creating a premise for the next stage. At the same time, closely follow the 2025 tasks according to Resolution No. 18-NQ/TU dated December 6, 2024 of the City Party Committee, synchronously implement the goals, tasks and solutions set out in Conclusion No. 123-KL/TW and Resolution No. 192/2025/QH15. The City promotes the responsibility of the heads of Party committees, authorities and Fatherland Fronts at all levels in organizing the rapid and drastic implementation of tasks, overcoming all difficulties, solidarity, self-reliance, proactive adaptation, flexibility, creativity, and correct application of the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws to successfully complete assigned tasks.
To achieve the set goals, the program focuses on a number of tasks and solutions: continuing to lead, direct, thoroughly implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, Conclusion No. 97-KL/TW dated October 5, 2024 of the Central Executive Committee on socio -economic development in 2024-2025, the Central Resolutions on building and developing Can Tho City, the Resolution of the 14th City Party Congress, term 2020-2025, resolutions, programs, and specialized projects of the City Party Committee. At the same time, closely coordinate with the Central Policy and Strategy Committee and relevant agencies and units to complete the review of 5 years of implementing Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW dated August 5, 2020 of the Politburo; Study and propose amendments and supplements to Resolution No. 45/2022/QH15 dated January 11, 2022 of the National Assembly on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Can Tho City after the merger and consolidation of provincial-level administrative units. Thereby, creating more resources, maximizing potential and advantages, and at the same time removing difficulties, obstacles and bottlenecks for Can Tho City to develop rapidly and sustainably in the new era...
