Resolved nearly 1,300 applications for issuing and exchanging driving licenses at commune-level police stations

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Implementing the transfer of the task of testing and issuing driving licenses from the Department of Transport (now the Department of Construction), from March 1, the Traffic Police Department of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police has arranged officers to be on duty at the Provincial Public Administration Center to receive, guide, and process documents and procedures for issuing, issuing, and reissuing driving licenses of citizens.

Quan Lao Town Police, Yen Dinh District receives, guides and processes applications for issuing and exchanging driver's licenses for citizens.

However, due to the huge demand for issuing and reissuing driver's licenses of people in districts, towns and cities in the province, while the geographical conditions are large, with many areas from the district center to the provincial public administration service center hundreds of kilometers away, in order to create favorable conditions for people, from April 1, the Director of the Provincial Police Department decided to add 9 more points to receive, guide and handle procedures for issuing and reissuing driver's licenses at the police stations of wards and towns.

In addition to the task of guiding procedures and handling citizens' records, the police of wards and towns at these 9 locations will receive records of issuing, exchanging, and reissuing driver's licenses of citizens in neighboring districts.

After more than 1 month of implementing and carrying out new tasks, the police of communes, wards and towns in the province have received nearly 1,300 records, of which 1,210 cases were changed and 89 cases were reissued.
