Chau Phu district leaders visit and encourage households affected by fire

Upon arrival, on behalf of the district leaders, Vice Chairman of Chau Phu District People's Committee Phan Van Van visited and encouraged the households affected by the fire. At the same time, he presented financial support from the District People's Committee to 2 households whose houses were completely burned, 40 million VND each, and 20 million VND to 1 household whose house was partially burned.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district gave each household 5 million VND in support; the departments, branches and unions of Khanh Hoa commune gave 3 gifts including necessities. Previously, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa commune gave 2 households whose houses were completely burned down, 2 million VND each, and the households whose houses were partially burned down, 1 million VND.

To help the households affected by the fire quickly stabilize their lives, Venerable Thich Thien Dinh (Abbot of Long Khanh Pagoda) supported each affected household with 20 million VND and supported labor days from members of the Long Khanh Pagoda's house building team.

Previously, at around 3:45 p.m. on May 16, a fire broke out in Group 8, Khanh Thuan Hamlet (Khanh Hoa Commune), burning down two houses and leaving one house partially burned. The fire caused about 500 million VND in damage, with no casualties.
