In case the person requesting the issuance of a Criminal Record Certificate requests to issue more than 2 certificates at one time, from the 3rd certificate onwards, the fee collection organization may collect an additional 5,000 VND/certificate.

From April 24 to December 31, 2025, the fee for providing criminal record information is VND 170,000/time/person.
The fee for providing criminal records information for students aged 16 and over, university students, people with revolutionary contributions, relatives of martyrs (including biological father, biological mother, wife (or husband), children (biological children, adopted children), people who raised martyrs) is 80,000 VND/time/person.
In case the person requesting the issuance of a Criminal Record Certificate requests to issue more than 2 Criminal Record Certificates at one time, from the 3rd Certificate onwards, the fee collection organization may collect an additional 5,000 VND/certificate.
From January 1, 2026 onwards, the fee will be 200,000 VND/time/person and 100,000 VND/time/person.
Circular No. 16 also stipulates 5 cases of free provision of criminal record information from April 24, 2025, including: Children as prescribed in the Law on Children 2016; Elderly people as prescribed in the Law on the Elderly 2009; People with disabilities as prescribed in the Law on People with Disabilities 2010; People belonging to poor households, near-poor households as prescribed by law on poverty standards; People residing in extremely disadvantaged communes, ethnic minorities in communes with extremely difficult socio -economic conditions, border communes, and safe zone communes as prescribed by law.
