Splitting treatment costs helps patients access timely treatment
Illness sometimes strikes unexpectedly, leaving many people unprepared both mentally and financially. Especially when faced with serious illnesses, delaying medical examinations due to financial reasons can result in losing a golden opportunity for treatment, and can even be life-threatening.
Understanding these difficulties of patients, from June 2025, FV officially launched a program to pay in installments when using hospital services, helping patients and their families reduce financial worries, focus on treatment and health care. With the policy of pre-treatment and monthly payment of hospital fees, patients have the opportunity to promptly access advanced treatment methods and world-class health care systems at FV.
FV Hospital officially launches hospital fee installment payment program from June 1, 2025
Accordingly, the installment payment program is applied by VNPay, a partner of FV, with payment via credit cards issued by more than 30 banks in Vietnam. For any transaction of 3 million VND or more, the cardholder will be supported to convert to installment payment with a maximum term of 12 months. In particular, if the cardholder chooses a 3-month payment term, FV Hospital will waive 100% of the installment conversion fee.
The installment payment program helps ease financial worries for patients.
"For diseases that require high and long-term treatment costs such as cancer, hospital fees are a huge difficulty and burden for patients and their families. Therefore, dividing the amount into smaller installments will be easier and more convenient," analyzed Dr. Jean-Marcel Guillon - General Director of FV Hospital.
More opportunities for people to access international quality healthcare services
As a multi-specialty hospital, FV Hospital is invested with modern equipment, has a team of experienced Vietnamese and foreign doctors, provides high-quality medical services, and is considered one of the medical facilities capable of successfully treating many especially difficult and complicated cases. FV is also a rare hospital in Vietnam to have achieved the Gold Seal of JCI four times in a row - the world 's leading prestigious organization for international medical quality assessment and certification. In the fourth assessment in April 2025, JCI experts recognized FV as one of the best and safest hospitals in Southeast Asia.
FV has a team of highly qualified doctors and medical staff.
FV Hospital General Director - Dr. Jean-Marcel Guillon said: "FV Hospital is confident in the quality of medical treatment on par with other high-class hospitals in Southeast Asia such as Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia,... but the price is only half. Moreover, FV also has a 20% subsidy policy for patients without private health insurance (applicable to both patients with and without state health insurance) since its inception."
FV Hospital's facilities meet international standards, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
In order to better support patients in Vietnam, FV Hospital is working to expand the scope of state health insurance coverage for medical services at FV. It is expected that from January 1, 2026, FV will officially apply state health insurance coverage for all inpatient and outpatient services.
FV Hospital has treatment quality on par with leading international hospitals in Southeast Asia at half the cost.
It can be said that, along with the application of the 20% subsidy program for patients without private health insurance that FV has applied for more than 2 decades, the installment payment program and payment of state health insurance this time are FV's efforts and social responsibility in sharing part of the financial burden for patients and their families. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for more and more Vietnamese people to access a healthcare and treatment system that is on par with international hospitals in the region at a reasonable cost, without having to fly abroad for treatment, thereby helping to significantly reduce costs.
