At 5:30 a.m. on May 2, at Phu Quy Gold and Gemstone Group ( Hanoi ), the listed price of Phu Quy silver was VND 1,238,000/tael (buy) and VND 1,276,000/tael (sell) in Hanoi, down VND 15,000/tael for buy and VND 16,000/tael for sell compared to yesterday morning's trading session.
Also in Hanoi, at other trading locations, silver prices are currently listed at VND1,013,000/tael (buy) and VND1,043,000/tael (sell), down VND14,000/tael for buy and VND15,000/tael for sell compared to the previous session.
In Ho Chi Minh City, the listed price was VND1,015,000/tael (buy) and VND1,049,000/tael (sell), down VND15,000/tael in both buying and selling compared to the previous session.

World silver price
In the world market, according to giabac.net, at 05:36:23 on the morning of May 2, the spot silver price stopped at 32.405 USD/ounce, down 0.222 USD/ounce compared to yesterday morning's trading session.
Previously, the silver price listed on Goldprice.org was at 32.34 USD/ounce; down 0.7 USD.
Currently trading at 843,000 VND/ounce (buy) and 849,000 VND/ounce (sell), down 5,000 VND/ounce in both buying and selling compared to yesterday morning's trading session.
According to Kitco, silver prices fell below the threshold of 33 USD/ounce due to concerns that the global economic recession will affect the consumption of this precious metal in industry.
However, in the long term, analysts say the solar sector will play a key role in the silver market, as global demand for cheap renewable energy continues to grow./.
