Travel on the world's longest 3-wire sea-crossing cable car

From Anh Duong Station of Hoang Hon Town, you can easily reach the world's longest 3-wire cable car over the sea, Sun World Hon Thom, a tourist icon of Phu Quoc. Starting the day with this experience, visitors will admire the vivid picture of the South Island with colorful Mediterranean-style townhouses, the vast blue ocean, small green islands and fishing boats bobbing on the waves.

Arriving at Sun World Hon Thom, visitors' journey becomes more explosive with a series of exciting activities at Asia's leading water park, Aquatopia Water Park, or the Exotica Village adventure game area, and a dramatic experience on the wooden roller coaster - Rage Snake.

If you are looking for a romantic and sweet experience, do not forget to walk along the cobblestone streets between the Mediterranean neighborhoods, full of colorful bougainvillea and geraniums. Sunset Town has countless other check-in corners such as the Sun God fountain, the Gavi Triumphal Arch and the European-style Roman square. In addition, the ceramic road or the Obelisk stone pen are also unmissable stops, creating an attraction for the beautiful seaside town.

Enjoy the magical sunset moment at the Kissing Bridge

True to its name, Sunset Town is most splendid in the evening light. Not only watching the sunset from the beaches and streets, visitors should not forget to visit the Kissing Bridge, a masterpiece of Italian architect Marco Casamonti, to admire the most beautiful moment of the day.

The 800m long Kissing Bridge with two branches 30cm apart is a unique combination of Western art and Eastern culture, inspired by Michelangelo's masterpiece "The Creation of Adam" and the Vietnamese legend of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl. The symbolic distance of 30cm between the two ends of the bridge is only connected when the two people on both sides exchange loving gestures, creating romantic moments in the middle of the brilliant sunset.

365 days of colorful art party

Every night, Sunset Town transforms into a sparkling art stage, where unique performances are held. In particular, even if you don’t come here on New Year’s Eve, you can still have memorable countdown moments with a spectacular fireworks display.

The town’s spectacular highlight is the Symphony of the Sea, a performance of such magnitude that is usually only seen at international Olympic Games. Every night, the sky of South Phu Quoc lights up with a “galaxy” made up of 400 fireworks with 40 effects. In particular, the water cannons – the type of cannon that only explodes when it hits the water curtain – create a scene of fireworks “erupting” from the ocean floor. This symphony of light is also stirred up by 24 Flyboard and Jetski athletes, making visitors marvel and admire.

Not only that, at 9pm every day, tourists flock to Kiss of the Sea, an international-class multi-experience show staged by ECA2 - the unit that performed the Opening Ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

The show brings together 60 international artists from 20 countries, combining modern technology such as water, fire, laser and light, performing on Asia's largest infinity stage on the sea with a giant 1,000m² water screen, bringing a feast for the eyes. In addition, the show also brings an artistic fireworks display with more than 100 effects every night, establishing the title of "365-day fireworks island" for Phu Quoc.

In addition to international performances, Hoang Hon Town also “treats” visitors to the Vietnamese folk art performance of Puppetry at the first puppet theater on the sea in Vietnam - A Oi. The show recreates the beauty of Vietnamese folk culture through 8 unique plays, combining water puppetry, land puppetry, Cheo singing, Chau Van singing and traditional musical instruments, directed by the Vietnam Puppetry Theater.

Vietnamese puppetry has 2 shows at 5:30 pm and 10:00 pm every day. Especially, the show is open free of charge to all visitors from now until the end of December 2024.
