The exhibition introduces 50 paintings and statues by many generations of painters, sculptors and veteran artists who have made great contributions to the development of Vietnamese fine arts and the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. Among them are works by painters and sculptors who participated in the revolution such as sculptor Ta Quang Bao - Ho Chi Minh Prize for Literature and Arts; late painter, Colonel Nguyen Quang Tho - State Prize for Literature and Arts, first term; painter, Meritorious Teacher Nguyen Nghia Duyen - State Prize for Literature and Arts in 2012...
The exhibition is organized by the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions in coordination with relevant units, under the direction of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. This is an activity to create a space to connect the past and present, between artists and the public, thereby spreading humanistic values, love for the homeland and country, national pride and revolutionary traditions, and aspirations for national development in the new period.
The works introduced at the Exhibition aim to honor artistic values, encourage creativity and exploration in expression, thereby reflecting the diversity and liveliness of contemporary Vietnamese fine arts.
The exhibition runs until May 8 at Exhibition House No. 29 Hang Bai, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi .
