On the afternoon of November 12, the Hanoi Party Committee voted to pass the Resolution of the 2nd Conference of the 18th Party Committee (term 2025 - 2030).

Accordingly, the City Party Executive Committee unanimously voted on the contents of personnel work. Specifically:

Dismiss Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan from the position of Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council for the 2021 - 2026 term due to not meeting the age requirement for re-election.

At the same time, introduce to elect to hold the position of Chairwoman of Hanoi People's Council for the 2021 - 2026 term Ms. Phung Thi Hong Ha, Deputy Secretary of the 18th City Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the 16th City People's Council, term 2021 - 2026.

Dismiss Mr. Tran Sy Thanh from the position of Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term because he was assigned by the Politburo to hold the position of Chairman of the 13th Central Inspection Committee .

Introduce to elect Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung, Deputy Secretary of the 18th City Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 (personnel introduced by the Central Committee) to hold the position of Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term.

The Congress also voted to remove Mr. Nguyen Xuan Luu, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, from the position of Chairman of the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee, term XVIII, 2025-2030.

At the same time, Mr. Anh Tuan, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, was elected to hold the position of member and Chairman of the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee for the 18th term, 2025 - 2030 term.
