Khanh Hoa will start construction of 5 large-scale projects

These are very important projects, promoting the development of the province's infrastructure, contributing to promoting socio-economic development, helping the province soon achieve the goal of becoming a centrally-run city by 2030.

Accordingly, 5 projects and works will be started in Khanh Hoa province, including: 1 urban area project; 1 resettlement area project; 2 social housing projects and 1 traffic project; of which, there is 1 group A project and 4 group B projects. These are projects with large scale of land use and investment capital.

A typical example is the Hung Phu II social housing project (in Bac Nha Trang ward) invested by Nguyen Hanh Construction Investment and Design Consulting Co., Ltd. with a total investment of 1,445 billion VND, constructing 2 apartment blocks and 1 technical building with a total of 1,221 apartments. The CT-01 social housing project (An Binh Tan urban area, Nam Nha Trang ward) invested by Dong A Golden Square Joint Stock Company has a total investment of over 1,115 billion VND to build 2 15-storey apartment blocks with a total of 772 apartments, with a population of about 2,000 people.

Van Thang resettlement area project (phase 1) in Van Thang commune and Tu Bong commune, with a total investment of about 1,385 billion VND, invested by Khanh Hoa Provincial Development Project Management Board. The project covers an area of nearly 100 hectares, serving the resettlement of people affected by key projects in Van Phong Economic Zone.

Or the inter-regional traffic project of Dien Khanh district with a length of more than 19 km, investment capital of 1,316 billion VND will connect the areas of North Nha Trang - Dien Khanh - Suoi Hiep - Dien Tho. When completed, this route will contribute to completing the traffic network, expanding the space for socio-economic development and tourism in the area.

The project investors all expressed their excitement when registering to start the project on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the National Resistance Day (December 19, 1946 - December 19, 2025) and welcoming the 14th National Congress of the Party, term 2025 - 2030, and contributing to the development of the province and the country on a new path.

Mr. Nguyen Van Vinh, Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Province Department of Construction, said that for the 5 projects registered to participate in the groundbreaking ceremony mentioned above, to ensure the conditions for organizing the groundbreaking ceremony according to regulations, the Department of Construction has proposed the Provincial People's Committee to direct investors of urban and social housing projects to urgently complete the remaining procedures, ensuring that they are eligible to start the project according to regulations. For traffic projects, it is necessary to urgently speed up site clearance, ensuring that there is a site available to organize the groundbreaking ceremony.

Currently, relevant departments and branches of Khanh Hoa province are supporting units and investors to urgently speed up site clearance for the project, ensuring site handover for the groundbreaking ceremony; at the same time, supporting to speed up the appraisal of project feasibility study report documents so that investors can implement the next steps, ensuring conditions and time for project commencement.
