On the morning of December 5, behind the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum area, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command coordinated with the People's Army Newspaper to organize the photo exhibition "Uncle Ho with the Vietnam People's Army - 80 years of heroic epic". This is one of the activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day.
The exhibition displays and introduces 80 valuable and unique documentary photos, many of which are being introduced to the public for the first time. They are not only valuable in terms of art, rich in form of expression, diverse in style, but also have profound political and ideological content.
Major General Dinh Quoc Hung, Secretary of the Party Committee of Group 969, Political Commissar of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command, delivered the opening speech.

The photo exhibition with the theme "Uncle Ho with the Vietnam People's Army - 80 years of heroic epic" consists of 3 parts: Part 1: Uncle Ho, the Party and State leaders with the Vietnam People's Army. Part 2: The Vietnam People's Army in the cause of building and defending the socialist Fatherland. Part 3: President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum - The work of "People's hearts, Party's will".
The exhibition displays and introduces 80 valuable and unique documentary photos, many of which are being introduced to the public for the first time. They are not only valuable in terms of art, rich in form of expression, and diverse in style, but also have profound political and ideological content.
The works vividly reflect the birth of the Vietnam Propaganda Liberation Army.
Over 80 years of building, fighting and growing, the Vietnam People's Army has made worthy contributions to the great and historically significant achievements in the cause of national construction and innovation.
Captain Nguyen Tuan Huy, a photojournalist of the People's Army Newspaper, shared: "Working as a soldier in major events of the country as well as of the Vietnam People's Army, I feel very honored and proud that my photos about the growth and modernity of the Vietnam People's Army in recent years have been spread more widely to the domestic public as well as international friends."
The exhibition is also an opportunity to widely disseminate the special political mission of the Mausoleum Protection Command, the Mausoleum Management Board, the political, cultural and historical significance of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the typical and advanced examples that are extremely simple but noble, contributing to promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. The exhibition will run until December 25, 2024.
