Young people enthusiastically participate in activities at "Da Nang Cultural Heritage Festival 2024"

Da Nang Museum organizes the contest " Discovering Da Nang's architectural heritage" for secondary school students in Hai Chau and Cam Le districts; the game show "Village festival in the middle of the city" helps the public immerse themselves in the joyful and exciting atmosphere of the village festival through games and challenges such as: Rice paper baking contest, making Quang mixed noodles, folk games...

The festival not only brings good traditional cultural values but is also an opportunity for young people to exchange and connect.

The festival takes place throughout with folk games (o an quan, chess, ludo, stilt walking, bamboo pole jumping, dragon and snake up to the clouds, playing cards, blindfolded drum beating, sack jumping, tug of war, carrying baskets across bamboo bridges, capturing the flag, pushing sticks, tossing cans, throwing rings into bottles...)

Students excitedly experience some activities at the festival.

Tran Ngoc Phuong Minh - a student at Hoang Van Thu Primary School shared: "I am very happy to participate in the activities at the " Da Nang Cultural Heritage Festival. Here we had the opportunity to freely experience, play tug of war, sack jumping with our classmates... It was truly a day filled with laughter. I hope the City Museum will have more interesting programs like this so that we can experience it more often."

Young people enjoy the exhibitions "Street Stories" and "Village Stories" at the festival.

Tran Nu Minh Chau - Student of FPT University Da Nang said that in addition to experiencing the special activities at the festival, Minh Chau spent time visiting the Da Nang Museum; at the same time, she expressed her impression of the space here. "The activities of the festival are very special and diverse. Everything is organized meticulously and grandly. Thanks to participating in the festival, I had the opportunity to visit the Da Nang Museum. This place is large and displays many artifacts and documents about Da Nang through the ages. This is truly a place that young people like us should visit once to understand more about Da Nang city", Minh Chau expressed.

The festival will last until November 23. In addition to the exciting experiential activities, the Da Nang Museum, in collaboration with the Da Nang Museum Cultural Heritage Association and a number of private collectors, will organize the program "Da Thanh Antiques Fair" to display, introduce and exchange objects that evoke old memories such as: ancient ceramics, bronze objects, worship objects; coins, paper money from the years before the renovation; American oil lamps, French crystal lamps, fans, glasses, teapots, clocks, vases, betel boxes, old books... and other items left over from the subsidy period.
