Preserving the heritage of goldsmithing in Thang Long land

The goldsmith profession is one of the long-standing traditional professions of Thang Long - Hanoi, founded by people from Chau Khe village ( Hai Duong ) who came to Thang Long to start a business, creating Hang Bac street in the 16th century. After 5 centuries, until now, Hang Bac street has always been a major gold and silver trading center of the capital. And the Kim Ngan communal house - the place to worship the founder of the goldsmith profession located on this street - has become a cultural tourist destination, connecting the goldsmith community in Thang Long.
