Contributing to Al Nassr's victory, Cristiano Ronaldo extended his scoring record

Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 837 goals in his career, when he shone to help Al Nassr beat Al Shabab 3-2 in the Saudi Arabian national championship last night (May 23).

In the 59th minute, with the score at 2-2, Luiz Gustavo won the ball in midfield before passing it to Cristiano Ronaldo who broke through two Al Shabab defenders before firing a technical shot into the far corner, sealing a 3-2 victory for Al Nassr.

Earlier in the 24th minute, Luiz Gustavo let the ball touch his hand in a corner kick, Cristian Guanca opened the score from the penalty spot.

In the 40th minute, Ali Al Oujami lost the ball in his own half, Al Shabab coordinated quickly and Guanca completed his double with an unstoppable long-range shot, raising the score to 2-0.

At the end of the first half, Anderson Talisca curled a dangerous shot after an assist from Al Hassan to reduce the score to 1-2 for Al Nassr. Early in the second half, Abdulrahman Ghareeb brought the match back to a 2-2 level before Ronaldo sealed a 3-2 victory for Al Nassr.
